These Jig Heads are meticulously painted and have a clear coat that provides superior protection. The paint on these Jig Heads will not chip, the actual jig will dent versus the paint chipping off.. These Jig Heads were designed for jigging and casting to stripers. Designed to use with flukes but can also be used with different types of sassy shads.
If you are doing vertical jigging, then you will want to add a barrel swivel and a split ring to the jig head to alleviate any line twist. Here are the swivels and split rings that we recommend:
Billfisher Barrel Swivels - we suggest the 20lb or 30lb test
Spro Stainless Steel Split Rings - we suggest Size 5, 25lb test
