The Swamp Monkey is a handcrafted swim jig that was created with the avid jig fisherman in mind and is produced on the banks of Smith Mountain Lake in Goodview, Virginia . Available in 1/2 oz and 5/8 oz sizes, the Swamp Monkey is made with a handtied silicone rubber skirt and a laser sharp Gamakatsu hook that won't let the fish off no matter how hard they try. To be even more effective, a Zoom Super Fluke or single or double curl-tailed grub used as a trailer have resulted in numerous citation fish (both stripers and bass) in the trial period of late fall of 2008 and early spring of 2009! The funky and spunky color combinations have been the most successful thus far, but keep your eye out for more colors in the near future. |
